Changes to space as a dimension amidst urban renewal leave most of us in a void. Gone are the pebbles and the mud, we recall them with nostalgia.
Sham Shui Po has re-invented itself without losing all of its past, we still have a lot left for those who feel like reminiscence. But just how do its dwellers view themselves as a whole?
We set off to hear what the community voices to us and what the “sound of the environment” suggests. The soundscape will perhaps bridge that gap between now and then, between emotions and how life has to move on in a developing community.
We use a contemporary and vivid way to approach the community and we hope to invite the “outsiders” to have a feel about the essence of Sham Shui Po.
